MISS TLC SAYS: Very clever making them look just like each other. I don't think their voices mesh well together though. It's definitely sexy though. Jake Nava directed this one. He previously directed "Crazy In Love" and "Baby Boy" for Beyonce.

The "Hostel 2" Movie Poster...Yes, The One With A Naked Bijou Phillips
You may have read the following piece in Page Six last week:
February 23, 2007 -- BIJOU Phillips is about to give a bunch of geeks the thrill of their lives. The former wild child is starring in the new Lionsgate slasher flick "Hostel Part Two," and the racy poster for the movie is being unveiled this weekend at the Comic Con event at the Javits Center. The poster shows Phillips nude and beheaded. Even better, the photo shoot for it was at the El Royale apartment complex in Hollywood with all the windows open. "The neighbors got an eyeful," said our spy. Not that Phillips cares - she's an exhibitionist.
Well because I try to hook my readers up with everything, here's the actual poster now for you to enjoy:

Daughtry. Yeah, whatever. I still can't stand this "full-of-himself" fool.
The only thing that really stands out on this week's chart to me is that Robin Thicke has now been at #6 for THREE WEEKS STRAIGHT. FINALLY, you people are catching on to what I've been talking 'bout for months. This boy is the truth. DEFINITELY check him out if you haven't already. It's also funny to see him back to back with Justin considering people compare the two of them all the time.

Congratulazioni Signor Scorsese!!!!!!!!!
"The Departed" SO Deserved Best Picture...
...so thank heavens it won. If you haven't seen this flick yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? The actors should've been honored more individually but we can't win 'em all I guess. Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Alec Baldwin were all fantastic. Great film.

Quick Question
In Response To Your Inquiries...
In response to the loads of emails I get from loyal readers and fans looking for answers to the week's most pressing questions, I give you "In Response To Your Inquiries"......
YES, Britney has re-entered rehab after checking in for only a day last week.
Britney’s rep, Larry Rudolph, says “Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today,” Rudolph says in a statement. “We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”
YES, Foxy Brown did get arrested again for acting crazy. I swear, just when you think this chick has gotten her act together and is getting blessed with a second chance, she throws hair glue at a beauty shop employee. Yeeeeaaah. I WISH I was lying.
You can click here for a full article about this incident complete with some video footage.
YES, Bobby Brown was hugged up with some chick a few days ago in broad daylight on the street. It could've DEFINITELY been a cry for attention being that Whitney has been spotted around town with lil boy Ray J and they HAD to know the photogs were snapping away.
And YES, I know who the chick is. I've been told by several sources that it's a chick names Alisha whose sister is Kim Ethredge, ex-publicist to Terrell Owens. Bobby has been seen around with this chick several times before so they must be longtime "friends".
On that same note, NO, I do not think that Whitney and Ray J are seriously dating. Yes, from what I've seen of the Ray J/Kim K sex tape, Mr. Norwood takes himself VERY seriously in the bedroom...but that doesn't mean he's good at what he does. He seems a little too concerned with setting up the camera, ice-grilling it, and staring at himself. Older women don't really go for that ish. It's possible that he tried to mack on Whit when they were in the studio working on her new album but I can't see there being anything more to it than friends going out to parties drinking and gossiping with each other. I mean, Whitney is closer to his mama's age and they have been friends for a minute. Unless Whitney is still sorta out of it and desperate for a young buck to make her feel good...
Lastly, YES, Bridget Moynihan is claiming that she is pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Tom Brady's baby. Now...this is all very interesting considering Tom supposedly broke up with her around three months ago and she was DEVASTATED. At the time, Bridget looked to be losing A LOT of weight and friends claimed that she was distraught and begging Tom to get back together. Tom then went on to start dating Gisele Bundchen (who he is still with), months go by and BOOM, Bridget now claims she is three months preggers with Brady's baby. Alls I know is that I would've LOVED to hear Tom's reaction the moment he heard that one. I mean...it all seems a little fishy but then again, it's possible. Can you IMAGINE Bridget's surprise when she realized that one though? Talk about hitting pay dirt for a woman obsessed with trying to get her ex-man back.
A Miss TLC Review of "The Agency"
I just caught a commercial for this new VH-1 reality show this weekend and I must say, I was impressed. For a channel that now regularly shows junk like The Surreal Life Fame Games and I Love New York (yes, I can't front...that one makes me laugh), I was surprised that they were really going to show something meatier without a D-list celeb on hand. The Agency follows the Wilhelmina Models International team and some of their agents in NYC. So considering the very positive response I got from the Miss TLC real-time review during The Grammys, I now bring you the official Miss TLC real-time take of The Agency...

Yeah, I'll definitely be sticking with this one for a while.

The Grammys - Miss TLC's Take
Beyonce's outfit was terrible. TERROR-BULL. Her hair was straight off a Barbie doll - synthetic to the max and her voice was just OK to me. I've seen her rip "Listen" much better at other times. I guess now she's kinda over the whole "Dreamgirls" thing anyway. What a waste of a Prince introduction.
Fergie's a mess but I really liked her dress.
Justin ripped it (as he usually does). I was glad he performed the interlude at the end of "What Goes Around", HOWEVER, the handheld video camera probably seemed like a good idea at the time but ended up coming off silly and flat.
The Corinne Bailey Rae/John Legend/John Mayer trio performance was fantastic. FAN-TAS-TIC. They all did their thing and the look of the stage and the rawness of their emotions was great.
I'm glad John Mayer won for Best Pop Vocal Album. He's a really good, really talented man, and he definitely deserved it.
WHY are Shakira and Wyclef still on the "Hips Don't Lie" tour?!??!? Didn't that song come out in 2002???
Common and Kanye's chit chat while presenting the Best Rap Album award was funny.
Ludacris should not have won for Best Rap Album. Lupe Fiasco should've won.
I don't think Mary J. Blige has had a great ALBUM since "Share My World" (just good singles and songs from her subsequent sets). However, I knew "Be Without You" was one of the best songs of her career from the first time I heard it. I don't think that this album should be the one that she's receiving so much attention for, BUT she definitely did "Be Without You" justice with her performance. Good for her and Kendu if their love is what's doing it for her.
No one should perform "Hotel California" except for The Eagles and Marc Anthony. Yes, I said Marc Anthony. He performed it live outdoors at Jones Beach Theater at a show I attended yeeeeears ago and it was phenomenal. Granted, the man looks like Skeletor but he has an amazing voice. Rascal Flatts? Not so much.
I'm happy for Carrie Underwood that she won for Best New Artist. Maaaan, that looks good for American Idol. Daughtry and Katharine McPhee are in the top 10 on the album charts and Carrie's winning Grammys.
"Tracks Of My " to "Hello" to "Run It"??? Didn't they skip a few decades in the middle there? Cuz I'm not sure if that was an even progression...
Christina MUST do something about her hair......PRONTO. I've seen her do some amazing performances this past year. This however, was not one of them. She just did a lot of screaming this time around.
That was a nice little In Memoriam for James Brown.
I'm not a fan of Luda's "Runaway Love" song but that was a really nice performance of it. I definitely liked it more after that. And Mary looks 15 years younger and a helluva lot better with her hair out and a bright colored outfit on.
No Jennifer Hudson. That dress was NOT for you.
Justin performing "Ain't No Sunshine" and "My Love" was great. They just should've let Justin perform after every other performer. He can dance, sing, play piano, play guitar, and ad lib with the best of them. Me loves him. :) (Oh, and the contest winner did well as well. They are lucky I didn't win the damn contest cuz the things I would've done in the middle of JT and T.I..........wow.)
Record Of The Year should've SO been "Crazy" or "You're Beautiful". Those songs were on the radio 'round the clock and they were both great songs. The Dixie Chicks...no.
Justin was completely robbed for Album Of The Year. "FutureSex/LoveSounds" was BY FAR the Album of The Year. The Dixie Chicks won because the members of the RIAA voting public wanted to flex their free speech muscle and make a statement that they are not pleased with our current administration either. That's all well and good except that it was not the time and place to do it when Justin just released the album of his career!!!
Anyway...in the end, I think this was one of the best Grammy shows in a long time. It was entertaining and the performances were plentiful and diverse. It moved well and it looked good and they finished 3 minutes early! I can't wait to see what they come up for next year when it's the 50th anniversary.
Say It With Pictures - CLIVE DAVIS GRAMMY PARTY 2007 EDITION
Some say a picture's worth a thousand words. Once again, I can pretty much sum these up in less than 20.
So who performed? Let's check it out...
WHO: Christina Aguilera.
MISS TLC SAYS: Lovin' the dress. It looks like she definitely tore it down too.
WHO: Christina Aguilera.
MISS TLC SAYS: Seriously, I would wear that dress. Loves it.
WHO: Akon.
MISS TLC SAYS: Clive usually invites the chart-toppers to perform every year. Soooo, that's why Akon was there. Moving on...
WHO: Fergie.
MISS TLC SAYS: Fergie, you know nothing about that equipment. Who are you trying to kid? Step away now.
WHO: Carrie Underwood.
MISS TLC SAYS: Lookin' good girl.
WHO: Clive Davis with Jennifer Hudson.
MISS TLC SAYS: Clive LOVES to "debut" a new diva at these parties. No surprise that Jennifer was the choice this year.
WHO: Pink.
MISS TLC SAYS: Um...people still invite her places? ...interestingly enough, she kisses that guitar player in the back.
WHO: Pink and said guitar player.
MISS TLC SAYS: Didn't believe me, did ya? ;)

This is the last known picture of Anna Nicole Smith before her untimely death.
USMagazine.com looks back at "the highs and lows of her colorful life" with 10 pictures here.
I feel like we may never know what really happened to Anna, her son, her fake relationship with Howard K. Stern, and her marriage to a 90-year old man. I tell you one thing though. The movie is definitely in the works.

Ray J. / Kim Kardashian Sex Tape

Kim Kardashian in the latest Complex Magazine: "There is no sex tape! Ray J’s not the kind of guy who would do something for revenge. There is no amount of money that could ever convince me to release any tape, even if I had one. I don’t need the money."
Yeah Kim? You didn't know what anyone was talking about a couple weeks ago? Please stop the madness. The world already knows that you rich, spoiled, skill-less chicks have nothing better to do with your time so cut the lying already. You don't need the money? Why, because you were "Daddy's Little Girl" and Mr. Robert Kardashian (RIP) gave you everything you wanted? Well how proud would be feel after watching this tape? From what I understand it was filmed after he passed so thank heavens for that. No one wants to watch their daughter getting fucked on camera as a way to say 'thanks for bringing me up in such a charmed life Daddy! your hard work and values really paid off!'. (So Kim...you might want to take back your statements at this point and try to get yourself a cut of the $1 million dollars that Vivid paid out for this video.)
The "trailer" has been posted on the site below:
Kim Kardashian, Superstar Trailer
MISS TLC SAYS: The funny part about all of this is that this is only the trailer but yet it looks really professional. I mean, it's like an MTV video (a HUGE step up from the Paris tapes). The music follows the movements and it really tries to showcase Kim as an up and coming star. Interestingly enough, Ray J is made to look like he's the man so if I had to guess...I would think he was QUITE ALRIGHT with this getting "leaked". Hmmm...
PS - What the F*CK is up with these silly celeb chicks having the most ANNOOOOOYING voices in the world??? Are they all just trying to mimic each other? Or do they all really talk like that? I mean it's part baby talk, part nasal congestion, and part Valley Girl, with a lil bit of "I have nothing to say anyway because my IQ is no higher than the rocks on my front porch" thrown in for good measure.
UPDATE: Here's another brief clip for those who are interested. Kim claims she's suing to bar the release of the tape. Vivid Entertainment says it's coming out regardless but you never know. Get it now while you still can.

9. ROBIN THICKE "THE EVOLUTION OF ROBIN THICKE" (51,880 units sold)
10. VARIOUS "2007 GRAMMY NOMINEES" (47,545 units sold)
FINALLY, a week where the #1 album sold more than 100K albums. I'm kinda surprised Norah Jones still has that big of a fan base but I'm happy for her. And I like the cover of her new album. It's pretty.
American Idol must be beside themselves that they have two of last year's finalists (not even the winner) in the top 3 at the same time. Say what you want about that show, but it's a marketing department's dream.
And I'm thrilled to see Robin Thicke is still the Top 10. Go 'head boy. (And for those of you looking for a little token Valentine's Day gift for your honey, this would make a GREAT gift for a man OR a woman.)
TWWOMT Poll Wrap-Up
The results of the latest The Wonderful World Of Miss TLC Poll are in.........
...and Chris Brown is clearly the fave.
Ne-Yo wasn't toooo far behind but Mr. "Poppin'" still beat him by a little under 10%.
Trey Songz, Mario, and Bobby Valentino all tied for last place and I must say I'm not that surprised. They are all considered the B and C list R&B guys. However, I do love the current jams "Slow" by Trey and "Go" by Mario. As for Bobby? Yeah...I haven't liked anything by him since "Tell Me" with Lil Wayne. Sorry Charlie...I mean Bobby. :)
And I'm glad to see Lloyd sliding into third. I have a feeling when his new album is released this spring, he will be moving further up the ranks in some more people's eyes.
BE SURE TO VOTE IN THE NEW THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MISS TLC POLL GOING LIVE TODAY!!!!!!
Congratulations...
...to our loyal reader Crystal Brown. She voted for Ne-Yo and even though he didn't win the poll, she won our latest The Wonderful World Of Miss TLC contest (in connection with the Favorite R&B Male poll). Enjoy your new CD girl!
(Stay tuned for the next contest which will be announced soon!)

From HitsDailyDouble...
L.A. WELCOMES DUPRI AS ISLAND URBAN MUSIC PRESIDENT
Division Is Formed Around the Hitmaking Producer/Writer/Businessman
February 7, 2007
In a move that seemed all but inevitable since he was let out of his EMI contract, Jermaine Dupri has reunited with his longtime friend and former business partner L.A. Reid, who brings him in as President of the newly formed Island Records Urban Music.
From his new perch, Dupri will oversee Island’s entire Urban music operation as well as producing acts on the IDJ roster and making his production services available to the other Universal Music Group labels. He’ll work out of both Atlanta and New York, reporting directly to Reid, and to Island President/IDJ COO Steve Bartels.
Said Reid in making the expected announcement: “Jermaine’s career has grown from strength to strength over the years as a producer and songwriter and recording artist in his own right, as a respected label executive and entrepreneur and as a highly esteemed developer of new talent. His deep ties to Atlanta’s creative R&B and hip-hop community have been the springboard to working with the greatest names in contemporary music. This is a tremendous step forward for Island Records and its established roster of artists who will benefit enormously from Jermaine’s presence.”
A clearly elated Dupri commented: “I’m so excited to be reunited with L.A. Reid, because most of my biggest hits were when he and I worked together. And then, to be working side by side with Steve Bartels—I don’t think there’s a better team because he’s by far the best in the game. I can’t wait for us to start stuntin’ on y’all.”
Added Bartels: “I am thrilled that Jermaine has decided to join the Island Def Jam family. Jermaine is a prestigious hitmaker as well as a production wizard. I personally look forward to helping be part of once again, adding to and continuing his illustrious legacy.”
Dupri and Reid previously teamed up on such landmark projects as Usher’s 8 million-selling Confessions and Mariah Carey’s The Emancipation of Mimi, the top-selling album of 2005.
Dupri was 19 when he produced his first #1 record, Kris Kross’ 1992 single “Jump.” The teen duo’s 5 million-selling debut album led to Dupri’s founding of the So So Def label in 1993. He subsequently signed and worked with such artists as Xscape, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Lil’ Bow Wow, Dem Franchize Boyz, J-Kwon, Youngbloodz and Anthony Hamilton.

MISS TLC SAYS: This makes sense. Now Jermaine is closer to L.A. AND Mimi. I guess that Janet/Mariah duet is finally in the works.

Good News for Apparel Retailers: Women Would Give Up Sex for Clothes
Wednesday, February 07, 2007
NEW YORK — For most women, the choice between sex and a new wardrobe is simple — they go for the clothes.
Women on average say they would be willing to give up sex for 15 months for a closet full of new apparel, with 2 percent ready to abstain from sex for three years in exchange for new duds, according to a new survey of about 1,000 women in 10 U.S. cities.
Sixty-one percent of women polled said it would be worse to lose their favorite article of clothing than give up sex for a month. Nearly half of the women, or 48 percent, taking part in the survey by consumer products giant Unilever said their favorite article of clothing was more reliable than their man in giving them confidence and making them feel sexy.
"Some people say clothes make the man, but the right clothes can even replace him," fashion designer, stylist and TV personality Carson Kressley from the reality TV show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" said in a statement accompanying the poll.
The survey, which was not scientific and was conducted online, also suggested that clothes often wear better than relationships.
The average woman between 18 and 54 years of age has hung on to her favorite article of clothing for 12 and a half years, a year longer than she's held on to her longest relationship.
Almost three-quarters of respondents, or 70 percent, also said they believed in love at first sight when it came to finding the perfect article of clothing, while only 54 percent of women were as confident in spotting the right man.
The global mammoth Unilever represents brands such as Lipton, Slim Fast, Bertolli, Surf detergent, Dove and Axe.

If He Leaves "Project Runway", I will FLIP

From Gawker.com...
Tim Gunn's Exit Memo Urges Parsons To Carry On
This morning, Page Six informed us that Parsons design dept chairman (and Project Runway superstar) Tim Gunn would be announcing his resignation today, along with the happy news that he's going to be Liz Claiborne's new chief creative officer. And so he did, in his characteristic endearingly melodramatic fashion. "This memorandum is very difficult for me to write, because my heart and soul reside at Parsons and the University and, more specifically, with all of you in the Department of Fashion Design," it begins. Awww, we love you Tim! We love your smooshy widdle face!! Uh, sorry. The full memo is below:
TO: Students, Faculty, and Administration: Department of Fashion Design
FROM: Tim Gunn, Chair
DATE: February 1, 2007
SUBJECT: Leadership Transition
This memorandum is very difficult for me to write, because my heart and soul reside at Parsons and the University and, more specifically, with all of you in the Department of Fashion Design. The achievements that we have realized together since the time of my arrival in the Department in September 2000 are phenomenal and we should all feel very proud. I have had every reason to assume that we would be together for a very long time. However, an opportunity has presented itself that I would be foolish to turn down. I have been offered the position of Chief Creative Officer of Liz Claiborne, Inc., and I have accepted that position. In this new role, I will work with the 350 designers who create product for each of the company's 40+ brands. I will serve as a mentor, advisor, teacher, and advocate. It's very exciting for me and it is also a welcome new challenge.
I want to emphasize that my work with you has been and continues to be exciting and challenging. You students never cease to amaze me: you're intelligent, exceedingly talented, and you're fearless, qualities that ensure a metaphorical creative combustion! You faculty are our academic leaders: you nurture, inspire, and give
unconditionally and selflessly to our community. Our work together is the source of my greatest professional pride.
I want to assure all of you that my departure will in no way harm the Department. Yes, there will be a period of transition in the administration, but every measure will be put in place to ensure that the highest quality education continues to be delivered. Towards this mandate, I am working closely with the Office of the Dean and the Department's administration and full-time faculty. I have every confidence that there will be no disruptions to your academic environment.
I also want to assure you that I'm not abandoning you! I continue my commitment to the students in my class, I plan to fully participate in the senior year thesis review, and I also plan to host the Parsons Benefit and Fashion Show. Discussions are underway about how I can continue to be active with Parsons, the University, and the Department of Fashion Design. Furthermore, in my new role at Liz Claiborne, Inc.,
I will be actively and enthusiastically recruiting Parsons graduates.
Next Tuesday, February 6 at noon, I will hold an open meeting to respond to your questions and to any concerns that you may have. All of you are invited to attend.

The (music) world is officially coming to an end if Pretty Ricky has a #1 album...and I'm not talking just the R&B charts either. Please people. I beg of you. BUY ALBUMS. If this were the golden days of Soundscan, 132K would NOT a #1 album make.
On the other hand, ROBIN THICKE HAS FINALLY BROKEN THE TOP 10 (WHERE HE BELONGS I MIGHT ADD). I've been personally street-teaming this album since it was released so I can't say enough about it. THIS should be #1 instead of Pretty Ricky.

Lavender Oil May Spur Breasts in Boys
3 Cases of Gynecomastia Reported in Boys Using Products With Lavender or Tea Tree Oils
By Miranda Hitti
WebMD Medical News Reviewed By Louise Chang, MD
on Wednesday, January 31, 2007
Jan. 31, 2007 -- Repeated use of products containing lavender oil or tea tree oil may spur breast growth in prepubertal boys, experts report in The New England Journal of Medicine.
The effects fade when boys stop using the products, note the researchers.

MISS TLC SAYS: Look, lavender is my favorite scent. I love aromatherapy massages (ESPECIALLY at The Spa at The Borgata in Atlantic City) and I always choose lavender as my aroma choice. But...
(1) I'm a girl.
(2) I'm a girl.
and
(3) I guess I wouldn't be able to tell if this was true or not anyway because I already have breasts.
I mean really. Products with lavender oil??? What "boys" (not even men) are using products with lavender oil?!!!?!?!?
Anyway, if you are a boy who happens to love the scent of lavender, burn a candle or something. Don't slather it on your body...unless you want breasts. I have nothing else to say.
PS - Speaking of men with breasts, if you love gambling as much as I do, you should read the book "The Man With The 100,000 Breasts: And Other Gambling Stories" by Michael Konik.
