MISS TLC SAYS: I like this song, and the video is the h-o-t-n-e-s-s, but that's Justin for ya. I mean, Ciara's talented in her own right (dancing-wise at least), but we ALL know that this one's gonna do well for her BECAUSE of JT. I mean, is it just me, or is this an outtake from "FutureSexLoveSound"??? The name is even alike. It's pretty obvious. I happen to know that Jive Records tried to work a couple other singles for CiCi over the past few months and nothing was taking off for her. Therefore, they resorted to a winning formula, and asked their #1 artist to give her one of his throw-aways to re-record and release to give the poor girl a shot. And I believe it's working. :)

Chris Brown Talks About Fighting With Rihanna

Power 105.1FM just hit the interview jackpot when they recently uncovered Chris Brown's comments about fighting and Rihanna from his talk with DJ Clue (which was videotaped AND recorded) on December 11, 2008.

MISS TLC SAYS: I just find this whole ordeal disappointing and very, very sad (which is why I haven't even brought myself to comment about it here). None of us truly know what happened that night (regardless of what was publicized from the court depositions last weekend). I just hope that the BOTH of them receive the counseling they so desperately need.

Amanda Peet "Might've" Been Drunk On Jimmy Fallon...

...but I think that made her looser and very funny in this interview from the other night (I'm just joking of course... I doubt she was drunk... but they were very relaxed and funny with each other):



I really like Amanda Peet (I think she's a talented comedic actress and very pretty in a natural sense), but I like her even more with Jimmy. The screen skit at the end was great.

For those of you who never watched her on "Jack & Jill", shame on you, because it was a very cute show that was cancelled before its time.

TMZ.com is reporting that DJ AM (who escaped from a burning plane that crashed last September) was scheduled to fly on the recently Continental flight that crashed in Buffalo.



MISS TLC SAYS: This is all a little too "Final Destination" for me. If I was him, I'd be paranoid about anything at this point, not just flying. But that's just me. Hopefully everything's A O K for DJ AM from here on out...

* I'm not surprised that U2 came in at #1. That was pretty much a given. Unfortunately for them though, I've heard from several die-hard U2 fans that this album just isn't that good. Either way, their fanbase will stand by them regardless so they'll be fine.

* Taylor Swift is STILL doing it. And now she's acting in a guest spot on CSI too? This girl can do anything. Good for her.

* Jamie's doing well for himself too. His sophomore release "Intuition" has now sold over 700K copies.

* Beyonce and Britney are both still doing their thing (with over a million in sales for each of them). Britney's sales will probably increase in connection with her tour, and her latest single "If You Seek Amy" (which is the censored version "If You See Amy" on the radio). Beyonce's will stay strong cuz she's ... Beyonce. Well that, and the clueless kids seem to like that silly "Diva" track.

* Dance music is enjoying some time near the top of the charts with Lady Gaga and the Dance 2009 compilation.

* And for those artists with low-selling albums who try to sell the idea that "you just can't go platinum anymore", I WILL say that it's a lot tougher nowadays, but not at ALL impossible. Take this lil sales fact for instance... in the top 20 ALONE, all of these albums have sold over a million copies:

My boy Michael K over at Dlisted.com is always on top of the latest DUMB celeb trends and statements (so that he can make fun of them of course). One of his latest obsessions is the phrase "over the moon" and how excessively celebs tend to use it to announce their feelings on being newly pregnant, newly married, newly parental, or newly employed.

Well Michael darling... I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the following product in the dairy aisle at the local supermarket in NYC. I've never seen it before (but perhaps I wasn't really paying attention until you started to attack the silly, overused phrase itself). Either way, drink up! I took the pic for you!

That is one of the most monstrous fashion choices I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. I literally did a double take when I walked by the store, and then HAD to go back to take pictures to post on the site. Really?!?!?! Not only is the rhinestone Obama face scary enough, but the fact that it's on a supposedly dressy suit makes it 10x worse!!! You see it all in NYC.

Then again, to give you a sense of the type of store this was... these were also showcased in the window:









(For those of you psychos who are interested in purchasing such an outfit, the store was around 7th Avenue between like 29th & 30th. Oh, and if you ARE interested in purchasing such an outfit, please never come back to this site again. You are SO not Miss TLC-ish. :))

MISS TLC SAYS: You are an icon. You are beautiful. You are timeless. Don't ever listen to the haters who try to blame you for eating disorders, low self-esteem, and the growth of the exotic dancer industry. (Those girls would end up that way even without you around.) Us hot girls need to stick together. What you showed ME as I was growing up was QUITE the contrary. You showed me how much I love being a girl, the color pink, makeup, the clothes (oh the clothes!!!), shoes, and how fun it was to put the word "dream" in front of everything I owned (like my new "Miss TLC Dream Walk-In Closet Room"). Check Out Jessica Simpson w/ Rascall Flatts

A loyal reader sent me some great personal photos from the Jessica Simpson/Rascall Flatts concert at MSG on February 12th about a week ago, and so I wanted to post a few here for you country fans.

The media can dog her as much as they want, I think Jessica looks fine here (great, even):



As for Rascall Flatts, they look like they put on a very entertaining show. The reader who sent these in is a big country fan, and she said the show was REALLY good. On a sidenote, I heard an interview with them last year with The Scott & Todd Morning Show on 95.5FM and they were saying how they were going to go on tour with Jess this time to help her break into the country genre with her latest album. They sounded like really good guys, especially because they mentioned buying a car for Taylor Swift at the end of their last tour where she opened for them and it was something crazy like a Porsche.

MISS TLC SAYS: When I first saw this headline, I thought they for sure were joking. But after reading the article that accompanied the headline, I'm not so sure. Either way... Hugh is a marketing genius in my mind and so I appreciate a lot about the guy. However, his wardrobe is DEFINITELY not one of those things I appreciate or find genius. He's 88 for Pete's sake!!! That's the ONLY reason he's wearing high waisted jeans you weirdos!
